Don’t see the point in them, just seems to be money for the sake of it. Bike has decals to say what it is why put it on the license plate as well???
See so many indecipherable private plates can’t figure out what people get out of it🤔

What's the point in owning a Tiger? Does anybody "NEED" a Tiger or do we buy them just because we want them?

At least the bike has function.
Not knocking anyone for having a private plate, I just don’t get it. :431:

I fancy MY57 TEX for when my late 17 plate arrives. If it arrives. When I can afford one. Oh well.  They're just a bit of fun I guess. I have a few myself. If you go onto one of the searchable plate sites there are dozens and dozens of cheap related plates.

I wanted Veteran plates for my bike. And you don't get much room. But I went with TGR. But some locals think that is just my initials since at least the first and last letters are correct.

Now I'm an old fart, I have trouble remembering stuff.  Why is it that I can remember the rego number of my first ever car, but not the latest one?
So to avoid the issue of having to say "just a minute, I'll duck out and have a look" when registering at motels 'n cabins 'n things, I bought custom plates for the bike and car.
A one off cost, transferable, well worth it.
The car is WAG777.  -My wife likes 7.

With my home-made mudguard extension, there's plenty of room to bung on stickers and the like.  My moulded religious symbol fell off, so I just printed up another one and stuck it on.

Wouldn't call it unusual - it's more like "natural"  :305:  :821:
