Scanning the board it seems the Tex comes with an immobiliser which is great, but I'd love to get an alarm that beeps, buzzes and screams if somebody is having a go at getting my locks and chains off, new bike stress and all that.
 The data tools s4 seems to get a slating, I've had one on my aprilia and it's never let me down, apart from running the battery down. The Triumph DefcomT 2016 by abacus seems good value at £130, plug and play, seems an easy install, any review on that? Or does anyone else have any other ideas?
  I Know if somebody wants to nick a bike it will be gone, but let's make it as hard as possible.

what about a noisy padlock or disk lock. I have a Xena disklock that has an alarm. I keep knocking the bike in the garage and setting it off :)

I'd agree on the Xena disklok - I fit mine with the Xena cable as well for added security and yes it's a tad loud when set off. However bike has to be on the sidestand for best "sensitivity" when left IMO.

I did previously have a siren disk lock, but its a bit windy by me, and with a flapping bike cover and cats wandering about it was going off all the time. I like the 'go away, i'm alarmed' warning beeps before all hell breaks loose.
