Yours sounds like a much more professional and dare I say safe job :001: + it's all fully reversible if for some reason you want/need to.

I never liked the 1st posters solution either :005:..i have used sacrificial parts and i can return the bike back to how God created it in a couple of hours. I will not disclose how its done as i don't want somebody trying to copy and not understanding the machining procedure and resulting in injury..plus i would never sell my bike in this guise for the same reason.

Nice one mate. I will have to pop along and see this beauty.
Well gel. Interested to know what difference it has made to the handling. Not that I have ever found mine wanting. But it does look a bit to skinny on the back end. That looks boss.
Take it easy. H

What's the canister for that is strapped on the right-hand crash guard? Let us know how it handles off the pavement.

It will never go off the pavement so who knows how it handles...as for the canister, 4 years ago i had stage 3 bladder cancer and they had to remove it along with other sticky bits..i plug my piss bag into the rubber pipe and it drains into the canister on long rides :169:. Ime a Roofer by trade and the problem never stopped me working too :038:

Anyway guys back on  topic...Its now completed..The hugger is a Powerbronze i think,i have cut of the original ugly bracket that goes to the caliper and re-worked a new piece of metal and welded it to the original top part and fixed to the torsion bar which i think looks a lot more discreet..It will now sit and wait till spring as i don't ride my bikes once they start throwing corrosive salt all over the highways :009:
