it had to come i suppose when i first started riding down to the bol-dor in the late seventies on my kawasaki gt1300 i had never seen so many bikes ridden at speed in large groups on the peage , which was free from the south of paris from friday afternoon all the villages around the circuit looked like a race track with hay bales  all round street lights, big signs saying calme that was back in the day now they have gone the other way cops everywhere and you cannot move,, had some good [burn ups ] with the french well you had to fly the flag !!! vive le france,,regards,TT

Did Spain and Portugal last year using Booking.com and similar sites.
If your on a budget find places on .com sites but then contact the hotel direct - sometimes it works out cheaper
