My local dealer in Exeter is getting a Gen3 LOW in for stock in May. I'm going to take a look. I'll let you know.

Damn, could be expensive.

But without a centre stand, Triumph should offer a suitable paddock stand as part of the deal.

At least 2 Triumph dealers I know of in Holland deliver their XRX's Low with a self modified shortened centre stand  :028:

Now that's interesting.

There's a business opportunity for someone with some metalworking skills.

[off topic]

Actually, I'd be interested to know how many kilos one could lighten the tex by:

- remove centre stand
- remove pillion pegs
- swap can for a lighter one
- swap battery for a Lithium one

I have increased the weight of mine with two sets of crash bars and luggage racks.

I'd be interested in details of these dealers also, as I'd love a lowered mainstand for my XRX-Low

hey Steve,
looking my 40mm kit and the links aren't much bigger then the standard ones,
they measure 5 3/8" by any chance do you know the length of your 20mm ??

I'll take a look. The relative length is misleading because of the multiplier effect of the angles. Your 40mm links really will lower the seat by 40mm, I promise.

As far as I know, you can't.

There has been discussion on this forum about replacing the stock link with the one fitted to the Low version. I'll leave it to you to search for those discussions. From memory, no-one has actually done that.

My dealer's advice was "don't lower it more than 20mm" but he may be no more knowledgeable than anyone else on here.

This may not what you want to hear, but it's what I believe to be the case.
