2018 Tiger 12 minutue tune

Does anyone know if the 12 minute tune is still valid for the 2018 models?

I was just curious, seeing how much of my gen 1 knowledge will be applicable to the gen 3.

I was wondering the same thing.  Since I've got 2700 miles on the bike now, figured things were reasonably bedded in and an ECU update couldn't hurt.  Performed the reset, or at least did the procedure, but can't say I noticed any real difference.

Automatically recalibrates the ECU fueling computer.  Procedure:

Start your bike from cold, without touching the throttle. Let it idle (without touching the throttle) until it warms up to the point that the radiator fan comes on. Now, let it idle for an additional 12 minutes (without touching the throttle). Now, key-off (without touching the throttle).

OK, interesting procedure :-)   Since April 1st is long due, I guess you're quite serious about this (?)    Maybe I'll try it with mine as well,.. just to see.

It did help me when my first '12 Tex began to exhibit fuelling (slight) issues.
Never had to perform it on my current '14.
