The solution that is currently working for me is the Garmin standard mount with the Ram ball on. I have bolted as close to the clutch master cylinder as it can be then attached a 6" Ram extension to lift my Garmin up, with a little adjustment of everything it works very well.

When riding it's a tad  higher than the dash and sits quite nicely to the left. (Hope that makes sense).

On the gen2, on top of the dash there is a small removable cover. This is where the Triumph branded gps mount attaches to.  Does the gen3 have this mount?

I'm due to take delivery of my new T1200 next week with the Triumph sat-nav mount, and I already anticipate this being a problem. I really hope Motech or someone comes up with a better bracket soon.

Hello there,

Just wondering if someone has found anything else on the sat nav bracket? seems my problem is the Triumph one only fits a Garmin 660 but I have a Garmin 595 and I'm not wanting to get another sat nav when mine is perfectly functional.

Cant find anything else either on the world wide interweb so any advice is greatly appreciated as its a bit annoying now

Thanks,

Anthony

The standard Triumph bracket works fine with the Zumo 595

My only complaint is it mounts the unit much lower than previously.

Is that bracket this one:

Yours looks like its attached on the middle of the handle bars but the one above seems to have an arm on it?

Hi Tony,
The one you pictured looks like the type which fits on a mirror clamp? Mine is different but it is a Triumph bracket. I can't find a similar one on the website or a part number anywhere. I simply ordered it with the new bike. I did like the previous Explorer one which put the satnav above the clocks, although I'm getting use to this new arrangement now. Luckily I don't ever use a tank bag which I think would obscure the view.

That’s just what I’m trying to find, I will have a search and will speak to the dealer see if they know of one like that, I sometimes use a small tank bag so hopefully it won’t interfere, thanks for that though is appreciated
