All requests for first dibs noted - I will send out pm's once the stuff is off the bike, cleaned and priced up.

My life is a bit manic at the moment - if I can't get it done today it will be Monday or Tuesday before I'm ready.

Test rides booked for Thursday  :305:

Let me get this right....
You already have an SDR and want something "sporty"???
In my past life, I always had something sporty and something for distance. When I cleared out the stable of everything street related, I kept just one that did it all, a Ducati ST3. I still miss that bike but am in the process of making my Explorer a sporty, touring bike.
I do believe the Tiger, set up correctly, can do it all for me with supreme comfort.
That said...I'd go with the Ducati Super Sport ;)

PM's send to all interested parties so far.

As for wanting sporty, perhaps I should clarify.

I have always had one fun bike and one sensible bike.

I regard the 1290 SuperDuke R as my fun bike. The Tex was the sensible one, and I need to replace it with something I could tour on, i.e. panniers and a comfortable riding position.

I could, I suppose just fit panniers to the SDR, but then I'd miss out on the fun you have with 2 bikes.

This time round I want my sensible bike to be a bit sporty, too, hence the short list of the Z1000 SX and the Duc Supersport S.

Just check out the service interval on the Z1000SX, I have this vague recollection of it being a really short one, I might be wrong.

Lovely looking bike, but it doesn't qualify as sensible - no pannier option.
