Ok understand - mines a banger from 2012 but still good - I don’t dare ride a newer one - would be a very expensive ride just got back from 2600 miles including some pretty hit stuff for Europe - I see some barmy people wearing shorts - if there was a leak at all it would burn very quickly

Do not... Do not ride the new one... Heck I bought mine just because I looked at it, not even rode it... So, maybe not even look at one... But don't ride it... I'm warning you...

There's a post somewhere who glued something to cover the vents - I think that's what I am going to do. Just duck-tape them...
Going to try this myself also.  See page 25, post 242 by anthonyp0808

I heard that the new ones come with XXL shorts and a bag of ice.   :038:

I just got done riding my Indian Roadmaster and that thing puts out the heat while sitting at a stoplight.  Makes me not even feel any heat from the Tiger.    :001:

Hahahaha. Come to think of it, I did shut off the Harley and just got off of it and gave up trying to go through traffic in the summer heat in NY... More than once, many, many times. At least I didn't have to do that at all with the TEX. Hmmm, probably because I am no longer wearing shorts and sandals whilst on the bike, I'm sure the boots help...

Note - it is NOT the large  radiator extractor vents that are closed - that would certainly cause issues.  The vents closed are those behind the headlights.

Hi Anthonyp0808 - Can I double check which vents you closed up. Was it the 2 behind the headlights on the inside here -

Or the gaps in the side fairing adjacent the headlights?
