For future riders...just finished an 1100 mile ride with a new set. Performed well on twisties and nothing bad to note in wet weather.  Very little dirt riding. They show a vibration around 25 mph which disappears above and below that speed (weird). I felt no tracking at highway speeds unless the grove was very pronounced. But even then minor.  Speeds range on the ride from city driving to 100 mph. I’ll try to update after more miles.

Don’t try to spoon these suckers on. Holy cow they have a sidewalk from hell.

Hey Atex,

I know it's still early, but how are those tires doing?   I'm about to put on a new set and am down to Shinko 705's and the K76's.

Thanks, Larry

Can't tell ya much about the K76 tires, but the 705s are great tires at a fantastic price!

Tires great. Smooth ran or dry. Bike not so much  won’t have many more miles since bike in shop. Will be selling when out. Tires good though.

Keep us posted on your 1290. It was a choice before my TEx. If it weren't for the terrible dealership in my town, I would have bought one.
PM me if you don't want to post about it.

Ok. Time for a change and I’m not impressed with new 2018 explorers.  I just don’t trust my 2014 anymore after this valve fiasco.  Time for new fiasco. Lol.

Ditch fiascos!  Get you a Yamaha MT10!  I’d seriously consider one if I was deciding on a new bike.
Ride safe, and ride often!
