Wardrobe/ cupboardy thing in the hall, in the way, with Mrs Dilbert's horsey riding gear, leather jeans and Mrs Dilbert's bike gear in fitted bedroom wardrobe.

Anybody any ideas on drying cabinets for the garage (when it's a bit better insulated), that don't involve nicking server cabinets during the upcoming office move ?

I'll never be old enough to know better !

I've always found it easier to get the Mrs involved in whatever to soften the space thing. She has as much gear as me, almost. She's very good at finding places for storing gear. She puts out of season gear in bins until needed.

Garage- due to quantity and size!

i had 2 old 'curtain poiles' that were once all the rage- you know, the wooden poles. Her indoors wanted them changed and i saw an opportunity.

Ive put two up scred to the garage-roof rafters and cable-ties for safety sake.
Ive 5 full sets (2 Street-guards) and other stuff/jackets etc. Also, when it gets wet- its easy to drip-dry while I use another outfit.

Currently got an old wardrobe in the garage storing my stuff which does mean I have to walk from the house to the garage in just my base layers (not very fetching and bloody cold at this time of year). But we're having an extension connecting the house to the garage so there will be plenty of space in the warm and dry for my kit.   :046:  :152:

Helmets and gloves always in the airing cupboard or Hot press depending on jurisdiction.  Gear in a spare room where air can get at it.
