SW-Motech Bar Backs (generic 28mm) on a Gen 3 - fail
« on: November 16, 2018, 05:01:52 PM »
Tried these today, fail!  :188:

I didn't want to radically change the bars, just bring them a little closer for which I would of had to add a little height too.

The supplied replacement front bolts are not long enough. The factory 10mm head allen bolt are full length. I have seen other SW-Motech risers with the longer front bolt but these will not fit these bar backs as there will not be enough room in the lower piece for the head of the front bolt.

Oh well, I'll stick them on e-bay. That was a little bit of an expensive trial..... :174:

Weird!
I had those on my previous two Texes and I never thought they wouldn't fit a Mk3 (which bars clamps doesn't look that different to me)!
