2018 Tiger 1200 Manuel needed
« on: November 28, 2018, 01:37:56 PM »
I'm buying a 2018 1200 Tiger X and trading in my 2012 Explorer. The dealer tells me Triumph no longer sells the shop manel ????????

Someone here made a short version for my Explorer I bought and I forgot who is was. Does anyone know if he or anyone sells a short version or any version of the updated new explorer Tiger.

Thanks

You can download a genuine Triumph service manual by registering at www.tritun.net. Registration is free but you have to then buy a subscription to access most of the features in there, including download of the service manuals. The subscriptions are time-based so you can buy an hour, day, week etc. Many people manage to use the 1hr subscription (£6) and download an entire service manual, BUT... you'll need to use Firefox as your browser and install the 'tritun-downloader' add-on to achieve this.

For me, this would become a significant deterrent to trading up to a new T12. I've got better things to do with my time than trying to download all the pages in a pay by the hour Internet situation. At a minimum, I would want a DVD like BMW sells, but I really prefer the paper.

Recently, I went on a search for the paint code number on my late model Subaru. Could not find it anywhere. Contacted the dealer who told me I would have to come in and they would look up my VIN number on their computer to get the paint code! They would not supply it via e-mail. I hate that BS.
