Yeah, been there on pavement but would probably not care to take a $20k bike off road and bash it up.  If I had a KLR maybe.

Bit too far for me also but I am coming over for a few days of Daytona Bike Week in March - cant wait!

2017 Explorer XRT in White fitted with Triumph Sat Nav mount and Arrow exhaust. Death Valley is a terrific place to ride, even if you don't go off the pavement. It is not to be missed if you have the opportunity to visit. Some of the most awesome scenery anywhere. I get there several times a year as it's less that two hours from my front door.
