wheel and stem size??
« on: December 14, 2018, 05:14:10 PM »
I'm about to pull the trigger on new wheels for my 2017 Tex  XRT.

anybody know....

   1.  What is the stem size (air nipple... for TPMS bike) ?
   2.  What are the wheel widths on said bike?

Thanks, Larry

I think that you can get the wheel width from the OEM tire sizes in your owner's manual. I think that the stem size varied if the wheel is cast vs. spoked. At least the stem length varied. I remember it being an odd size.

you go to replace stems, use a metal one instead of a rubber one, that way you can use a accessory TPMS, if you wish. :169:
