Thanks Everyone yes M4 x 45 mm for the rear £1.09 off fleabay on their way - not in black but who cares
Top stuff - very useful info.

In terms of mileage on rear pads - make sure the pistons are free -  I always use an airline to dry the calipers after washing - they are a little prone to sticking. My 1050 was so bad I used to keep a spare caliper and just swap it over - that said the 1050 had an underslung caliper that was in the firing line of all the road crap ! Other thing to watch is that your not inadvertently dragging the rear brake by resting your foot - my mate does it al lthe time on his Yamaha and wonders why pads only last 5k !!  :001:

I use a Bruhl bike dryer on mine. Airlines are OK but the air will contain oil unless you have really good filtration on the output side. Not a problem around some components but can make a mess of the wind shield. It's only a very fine mist, but it's there and shows up on my green body work. The bike dryer is a revelation.

Don't feel bad Nik, English is my native language and sometimes I have issues with "across the pond" vernacular.
