Installed a new touring screen the other day. I tried adding spacers out of fuel hose (10mm OD) to my original screen as suggested by blueTrex but they squashed up too much after fastening for my liking.

On the new screen I opted for longer bolts and spacers this time and covered the spacers with 12mm aluminium tube (10mm ID) to stop them squashing down too much.
Also added rubber buffers on both ends and both sides of the screen (salvaged from discarded tyre valves) and some washers to prevent the socket heads pulling through the rubber buffers.
The lower spacers were made longer than the upper ones to increase the angle of the screen and air flow underneath.

Haven't taken it for a good run to test it out yet, but it looks solid and should work well.

Very pleased with this. I’m 6’4”.
You can order the height you need. It’s a process but they are custom to fit you.
