Looking for riding companions
« on: January 25, 2019, 11:32:59 PM »
Hi,

I'm planning to do a trip to north Thailand in either October or November this year and was wondering whether any of you members might be interested in coming along.
I've done a number of trips to Asia - Vietnam ( 4 times ) ,Laos, Cambodia and Thailand and have always had an incredible time. Normally I hire bikes as its too costly to ship my tiger. In Thailand you can hire a myriad of different bikes to suit any adventure for around $40 a day. I usually make accommodation arrangements on the go because I'm never quite sure of where or when I'll be. It's a bit carefree but I've never had a problem finding someplace to stay after a long days ride. If this worries anybody then pre booking accommodation can be easily worked out.
The plan would be to meet in Chiang Mai,hire bikes then head off for an amazing adventure. I'm thinking of doing a whole months journey. You could choose to do however much time there as you please.
So if anyone is interested please reply for more details. It's always much more fun to share adventures with others rather than doing it on my own.
Think about it.

Cheers
John
