Metzeler Tourance vs Michelin Pilot 5
« on: February 01, 2019, 04:43:55 PM »
Hi folks!

Just curious if anyone here has road tested the Michelin Pilot 5 on their Tex yet??? Any feedback at all?

I was recommended them by my mechanic (but I don't actually know what bike he has). I've been using Metzeler Tourances for years, on 3 different bikes, love them, BUT, the Tourances on my 2017 Tex XRx square out very quickly. I know it's a heavy bike, but I do a lot of twisties in my commute, and a tire starting to square off after 2,000 kms is too soon for me.

So I'm curious about these Michelin Pilot 5's, from a Tex point of view, if anyones given them a whirl!

As always, pints owed for any advice!  :031:
