Battery change to 2012 Explorer
« on: April 20, 2019, 05:25:41 PM »
Hi. I just changed the first new battery to my 2012 Explorer I have had since new. After starting it again the engine warning light (the orange one) stayed on. It has not been on before so I assume it has something to do with the battery change. Battery was disconnected about 2 hours during the swap. Should I now "reset" something from the menu or what to turn off that engine warning light.

The light will reset by itself after you have driven it and done at least three start sequences
