Changing wheel colour
« on: April 24, 2019, 07:32:48 PM »
Anyone changed the colour of their alloy wheels and if so what colour did you go for ?

I just had my car wheels refurbished and noticed that they do bike wheels as well. Only £30 each to strip and powder coat in any colour seems tempting.

I wouldn't want anything to showy that doesn't suit the type of bike though.

What colour is your bike?
Satin gold usually works with everything  :031:

I should have said, it's red. Satin gold sounds nice I'll have to see if I can find any pics of one with them in that colour.  :028:

That’s a smart colour, I recon the pics don’t do them justice.  :028:

Sounds like my quote of £30 a wheel is a good deal.  :002:

Sandblast and powder coat for 30Euros?
I’d be real careful. There is a reason they are so cheap.

Euros...??? We use REAL money in the UK ! 😁

I’ve seen their work and they’ve just refurbished my car diamond cut alloys. It’s a very professional operation.

I forgot to mention that they are the preferred supplier of alloy wheel repairs to the local BMW and Mercedes dealers.  :028:

At that price it has to be worth a go. What about different colours for each wheel?  :018:
