Hard pillion seat.

Hello peeps
Just a bit of advice please...
Myself and my GF are off to Spain for a couple of weeks touring but my GF complains that she finds the seat too hard. She hasn't been on the back that often, so will the seat soften up ? or if not can anyone recommend a gel seat/padding/cover ?
Many thanks

I got a gel pad that just clips on from M&M. They had various sizes and it was about 14 quid. Works a treat.

Airhawk is the best cushion made. Just be sure to put very little air in it as the tendency is to over fill it.

They are available from many different sources.
You will have a happy girl friend at the end of the day.
Ride safe and have a great trip.

I’ll start again - it was M&P not M&M ( must have had chocolate frenzy in mind! ) and the part was “Jusit’ gel pad cover medium size. It was also 27 GBP and not 14. Boy was I having a bad day when I posted that

There are a pile of cheap gel covers out there but I don't think they are that great unless you go upmarket or go for the air-filled ones as mentioned. I did get a pair of "Adventure" style Moto-Skiveez which I did think were very good. I reckon they added about 60 to 90 mins extra ride time. Since buying the Gen 3 I use neither, the seat is superb.

Has your girlfriend ridden much?
After getting back into street motorcycles around 25 years ago, the Mrs and I couldn’t ride for more that 30minutes without butt ache.
It takes a while to break in your backside....Ya, I just said that ;-)

Thanks to every one who took time out to point me in the right direction in how to solve the problem of the hard pillion seat .
I ended up getting a gel seat from TourTec... went for a run out this morning and the gel seat certainly stopped that whinning noise coming from the back of my Tiger .
many thanks
