I actually really like the Irish use of language, especially in song and poetry, Irish-English and Welsh-English are much more lyrical and descriptive than stuffy English-English, if you know what I mean.

I haven't been to Malta and Gozo since my teens (mid-70's), loved it back then, I believe it's a lot more commercial these days ?
