Instrument panel Dylanre58 2019 Explorer
« on: June 22, 2019, 09:52:55 PM »
Does anyone know if the clocks are plug and play. I have had to replace mine and managed to get a salvaged set. They light up and get a neutral light but will not turn over. Conflicting advice from the dealers.  One says plug and play one says they are not interchangeable and offered to sell me a new set for a grand fitted.

The clock on my T1200 instrument panel only takes up a small area, and I only have the one.

Are you aware that a clock is something that displays the time of day?

By clocks I mean the speedometer and rev counter or instrument panel. :087:

I joined this site for some intelligent conversation and educated feedback. The feedback so far hasn’t met my expectations  :024: :172:

Yes, sometimes things go out of whack. We are a dysfunctional family afterall. Sorry for that. The question wasn't very clear and then we got carried away - hoping that one of the adults who has more knowledge regarding the topic would step in and stop the ruckus but that didn't happen. Please accept my apologies.

The entire instrument cluster is plug & play and replaceable. But since you said clock, you threw me off there.

Apparently, even the individual gauges can be accessed on an older model, thus serviceable. Albeit with some hardship. Also, what model, what year? All three Tiger generations have different clusters. The final iteration is a TFT screen... I had the first gen and it was a different story...
