What is this part?

I think I have oil leak from this fitting under the sump. 2013 Explorer I think it is a sump bung. T1232208
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there

thats exactly it and theres an o ring for it too.

If you use the link below its parts 7, 8 and 9 in the diagram.  The part numbers shown are not original T numbers but if you add them to your basket the actual T part number is displayed.

Thank you for the reply, :002:
Checked my oil level after 4ks since oil change and oil level was down a tad.
Remove bash plate, and low and behold oil on the pan. Seems to coming from the bung. Whats its purpose?
Tried the T numbers from WOT and can't get any info. Bolts where quite lose, re tighten to 9nm.
Would love to know the correct torque if any one can find it.
