Decision
« on: July 20, 2019, 12:16:54 PM »
I am at the stage of negotiations with my dealer on a new 1200XRT. I have a 17 Tiger sport at the moment, my question is has anyone changed from a Tiger to a 1200 and what is your opinion living with a 1200?

Well it didn’t take long to decide, order placed for a white 1200XRT, free Triumph panniers, along with a Givi 47 top box and a Givi tank bag with first service included , I have ordered engine bars, a new satnav mount, and a couple of other things, got what I believe is a reasonable deal, collect August 1st.

I've changed from a 2017 Tiger Sport to a 2018 Tiger 1200 XRx.
If......and if  the rumours are correct...Triumph decides to market a  new Tiger Sport with the Speed3 150bhp engine, TFT screen and the backlit switches...I might  consider to go back to the 1050

I have had a 14 and 17 Tiger Sport and fancied something different, if Triumph do update the Sport properly I would consider it next time round, it will also be another couple of years before they do so I didn’t want to run my current bike until then.
