Gear position sensor code.
« on: August 30, 2019, 02:50:26 AM »
Well for the first time in over 7 years I had an issue with my '12  model TEX today. My check engine light came on,  my CC shut down, my gear position indicator shows only 1st gear, and my TC light came on. I rode about 5 miles home without issue and checked the DTC Code. It shows a PO705, which is the gear position sensor circuit malfunction. I know I've seen this listed somewhere but nothing shows up in a search. Can anyone tell me if this indicates a faulty gear position sensor or can it be something else in this circuit? TIA!
Jon
