first ride out with my nav fitted and the bracket works a treat with now vibration and in the perfect position, dont no why these have not been picked up by a major manufacturer although they would then cost double.

Please take me off the waiting list - I've just made one!

Using the great design and info on this thread I bought some alloy and gave it a go - no way I could bend 5mm alloy on my vice mounted metal bending device.

Try two - a flat bar stainless steel 20x500mm and 3 mm thick.  It was just possible to create clean tight bends. fitted a stainless bracket to directly mount the Zumo satnav. solid as you like - no vid or wobble.

I bought some shoulder bolts to finish the job (M6 with 8mm x 30mm shoulder.  Very pleased even if i do say so myself.  I also added a couple of tap washer to the top screen mounts to add a little more angle and now no buffet too.  When i work out how to post pictures now my photo bucket account is closed ill post.

thanks all for the help and design.

Hi,

Thanks.

Hey BlackCSVT,

Great you are joining the club...!
Unfortunately, that puts the exact waiting list atm on... 2.

The last people who were on the list made other arrangements and asked to be taken down.

The drawings are available, the types of nuts etc are known... do you think you might find someone who can make it in the States yourself?
That will probably get you on the road faster., because by the rate it's going atm, I believe to have a new batch of 10 made by 2029  :006:

Let me know what you need?!

Kind regards,
