Your favourite local motorcycling cafe
« on: December 08, 2019, 02:14:14 AM »
Do you have a favoured local biking cafe? One that you could recommend to people who are visiting an area perhaps? Please list below...

I’ll start with The Chequered Flag, just outside Liskeard, in South East Cornwall :028:

Open Wednesday to Sunday, with late night closing on Sunday. Friendly, family run, cafe with on site bike workshop and very good on site car valet. An opertunity to bring and buy used bike gear and dog friendly too.

Food basic, but homemade cakes a highlight  :001:

Filling station at Keswick  :028: I preferred it when kieron owned it but the new lot have kept it well for the past couple of years. Bike nights through summer with food, a good excuse for an evening ride out  :305:

None in NY, but in Rhode Island / Connecticut area there's a legendary place called the Vanilla Bean Cafe. I had a part dirt, full backroad route to an from VB which I loved to do back in the day...

Steel Horse Cafe near Abergavenny, Monmouthshire.  Good food, nice people, great roads all around.  Bike nights in the summer.

:0461: My nearest bike haunt. My only complaint is they close Mondays....but can't really deny them a day off .
