hmmm. so if you put the bike on centerstand and rolled the front wheel as fast as you can, do you hear the metallic sound? is it the brake calipers rubbing against the disk type of sound? can you shoot a video?

The metallic sound is only heard when driving at speeds over 40 km/h.
When you turn the wheel on the central stand, you only hear the rubbing of the brake pads.

Does the sound change or stop when you bank into a curve? If yes, then it is the tire. I describe the tire noise as a wah wah wah sound.

My dear,
One hundred pounds sterling spent on a new tire.
After the exchange, I promise to tell you if it's okay.
God .... be it okay.

I changed the tire and it's definitely quieter.
The noise has not completely disappeared - but this is normal for a motorcycle like this.
I also drive a Yamaha XV1900 Stratoliner - the wheels are as quiet as the Rolls Royce Phantom.
