Again Goodbye
« on: January 22, 2020, 05:31:56 PM »
Today decided to bite the bullit and traded my  2018 Tiger 1200 XRx  for a  new Tiger Sport 1050.
My 11th Hinckley Triumph,  4th 1050, 2nd Tiger Sport.
My last 1050 TSport was from 2017 and  was traded for the 1200 XRx.
Major reasons for going back to the Sport is my good experience with 1050 engines, less complexity, less heat and weight, easier DIY maintenance. Oh... and  no longer  be confronted with dumbos asking me how I like my   :005:  BMW GS  :110:
So after 2 GEN1 Explorers and a GEN3 XRx it will be goodbye for me. Thanks all, stay well and ride safely!   :821:

Have fun and keep the rubber side down. Stop by and post pictures every once in a while from your adventures, will you?  :821:

Will do!   :169:
Already checking WXPRO for decent weather nearby, mostly frost free areas. My usual "new bike run-in trip" is a 3 day trip to Luxembourg, South Belgium and North France.
At the moment it is looking good but wet. So what !  🌧  :150:  and planning first service at 800-1000 miles end next week 👍

Nice! If those were available over here, I'd be riding that instead of the 1200.

I understand your logic about the 1050.
I always thought it was the best all-round Tiger and I've owned them all.

The only proviso in that statement is the 1050 best for solo and 1200 best for two-up.
