Sold the Tiger 1200
« on: March 15, 2020, 12:41:44 AM »
Well I've just traded my 2015 Explorer on the new 900 Rally Pro and what a revelation. Absolutely loving it. Picked it up on Wednesday 10th and have put 650km on it. I feel its better in every respect and I had the 1200 for 4yrs and did 57km. Time will tell but so far I'm not regretting the change

Looking forward to your thoughts once you get it and put some miles on it.  :028:

Congratulations.  Looking forward to hearing your views on the 900, but did you factor in gym membership to allow for the muscle tone you'll lose not having to manhandle the 1200 around anymore?  :155:

Yeah the weight I won't miss, not that it was a major drama. But moving the 900 around in the garage is just so much easier.

How do you find the seat height as compared to the 1200. What height settings are you on as compared to the 1200.
Also would be interested to know whether there’s enough space under the rider seat for an autocom unit. Photo would be useful.
Still waiting to see one in the flesh.
Carefree wherever you may be.

Rode the 1200 in the high position but the 900 in the low. Under seat storage on pillion will only fit the phone  in the charge storage compartment. Rider's seat there is a tool kit but limited space.

Very interested also to hear your thoughts.  I think my biggest concern is motor vibes, any initial impressions in that regard?
