Hey Cap'n, you do know I'm old enough to have some Neil Young in my music collection, right?
(I actually prefer him with Stills & Nash.)

Ah, but are you old enough to have Neil Young in your record collection?  :002:

No Cap'n I  don't have Neil Young on record.  I do have some records, and have hung on to a player and amp with phono input, but I really should ditch it.
I got onto cassettes soon after they came out, with a small player I'd cart round.  As soon as I  had the readies, I bought a Sony 3 head cassette deck.  Boy was that expensive!  I even added variable capacitors to it so I could fine-tune the bias.
The Sony chrome tapes I bought to go with it were terrific, but in later years they started shedding their oxide, Turned out to be very bad storage for my music.
My habit was to buy a record, tape it, then give away the record as a present.  So I didn't amass a record collection.
These days I buy CDs, rip them and put them in a cupboard.

Boy, how did this thread go so far off topic?  Sorry guys, must be the coronavirus hibernation getting to me.  (Our PMs announcement last night has put the kybosh on club rides.)
