I've got exactly the same (2018 lock barrels that are too big to fit the panniers) I'm thinking to go the other route & just buy 2017 barrels & keys and put up with carrying my ignition key & pannier key, anyone know part number/s I should be looking for and do I have to use Triumph or do Givi supply barrels?
Thanks in advance
Jeff

Yes you have Gen 2 panniers and Gen 3 locks.. Just need to order new latches to fit the Gen 3 locks into.  really easy to swap, just a couple of crews on the inside - just be really careful of little springs etc etc.  There are guides for givi panniers on you tube. (Triumph panniers are made by Givi)

My dealer new all about the different gen Lock barrels issue.

Look closely inside the hole. There’s a piece of vertical plastic at the end with two indents on either side. The lock barrel has two tangs that engage these indents. Take a thin blade screwdriver, or even the ignition key an put the end of it in one of the indents and turn ....

Steve, Big thank you, was wondering if something like that would work but was afraid of damage, panniers now open! :028:
