Many thanks to all those who posted the solution on here.

I also found a You Tube from Adrian Baxter which helped enormously and also applies to the Givi versions.

I picked up some panniers yesterday and was able to hand the barrels over to the seller. Far easier to get the barrels out than the Explorer panniers although I am told (by WoT) that the replacement lock and barrel set (T2509880) seem to be in short supply at the moment.

In 2018 Triumph went to the larger diameter lock barrels.  Unfortunately, they don't fit the locking mechanism of earlier bags.  You need to replace with new lock mechanisms that will accept the larger barrels at about $40 per bag.

T9500712 Left latch
T9500713 Right latch

Does A9500690 latch fits for keyless lock supplied with the Alpine Edition in 2021 too?
