The Brembo pads that I removed looked absolutely fine, in that the backing plate and the friction material seem well fixed together and show no sign of coming apart from each other.
Like most riders I assume, I consider the brakes to be a critical part so I decided to fit new EBC brake pads to keep mobile.

Anyone in the US receive the recall letter?   I have not at this juncture.

OR Triumph France is a bunch of dangerously incompetent lazy s*ckers.
I let you guess what'd be my pick ;-)

Nik, the same goes for the Netherlands. No reaction from Triumph NLD yet.

I have not received a letter and typing the VIN into the triumph recall site says thats there are no recalls.

Received my letter from Triumph yesterday - phoned the yesterday - job done today! Brilliant

My dealer must have had the replacement pads ready to go whereas another chap on his Speed Triple was going to have to wait 4 weeks for his pads from the same dealer - go figure

My bike is booked in for a Monday afternoon in a couple of weeks to get the job done. The dealer only really got back up and running again last week so I guess they'll have plenty to do, with servicing that would've been done during the period they were closed and this recall too, I'm guessing most of the Triumphs sold in Yorkshire are on that list!
