Hi from Ged67 in Melbourne Australia
on: October 15, 2020, 11:33:40 AM
Gday folks.  Glad to have found this forum.  I bought my 2016 Tiger around 2 years ago.  I used to have a Triumph Thruxton and did some decent 1000km + trips but found the riding position a bit tiring, not to mention the luggage options a bit lacking. I also used to look longingly down the gravel roads as I passed by.  Now I ride up them!! Although we have struggled to get out on any decent rides for a while as we have been in lockdown on and off since March.  Right now we are limited to travelling no more than 5 km away from our homes.  It is funny though to see fully kitted ADV riders doing laps of the suburb!  Anyway, looking forward to digging into the forum archives and chatting with you all.  Cheers for now  :821:

:401: and don't forget to uploads pics when you can.  I think we are all in the same boat on this, we are currently locked down to our County (these are quite small) in Ireland but were on the 5Km from the house for a good while. 5Km is quite claustrophobic on a 1200cc Adventure bike!   :155:

Welcome from Adelaide, where we don't have lockdown.  I feel for you.  My daughter lives in Melbourne.  No idea when I'll be able to see her.
