Clutch Noise

I bought my Bike (1200 XCA 2018) new.
The clutch makes quite a rumble when in neutral with the clutch pack released.
When I pull in the lever it’s silent.
Is this quite normal?
Had this with GSXR’s years ago which signified a light carb balancing issue.
If anyone has a noisy clutch I’d love to know!

I have same bike, and raised this with the dealer.
They said it is quite normal and due idle gear and drive shaft not being under tension.

Yep, my GEN1 and GEN3 both make the noise you describe.  Sounds like a bearing noise when you release the clutch from having it pulled in.   Just a normal sound from they make.

My bike same and makes same noise. So did my 2014 Gen 1 and my 2012 Sprint GT. No driveshaft on a Sprint GT - so I don't see why driveshaft tension is an influence. Seems to be common as muck with these bikes. Not a fault just an operational behaviour.
