Sensibly priced workshop manual
on: January 27, 2021, 10:22:50 AM
Hi. I wondered where the best place might be to purchase a workshop manual for my 2012 Explorer at a reasonable price or indeed if anyone has one they would like to sell.

Here you go. Mark was also talking about servicing course in North Wales but the Pandemic has put that on hold for now.

Many thanks for your reply. Yes I have that one and its great. I should have said was looking for a detailed workshop manual for more in depth work.

There is actually a part number for the factory version, but I've heard it may not be available anymore in print.

I bought it approx 5 yrs ago and it wS £95...but worth its weight in gold the amount I've used it.

I'm currently at work but when I get home ill try and find the part number and let you know.

I've also heard of electronic versions but not sure where / how they're available.

I agree with Ollyreid, I don't think it's available now for that year.

On Tritun (the official Triumph website for manuals) you can only get years 2016 - 18.

Haynes don't do one. Marks is the only one I know for that year.

Someone might have an old one tucked away, maybe put a topic in the Items Wanted board.

Part number is T3852795

Problem is these tend to come up as "on backorder" and you could be on order indefinitely so get some confirmation before ordering online.

:0461: I have previously seen used copies searching the part number.
