SW Motech Evo pegs fitted
on: April 01, 2021, 06:21:23 PM
So, after sorting out the 'upper' ergonomics of the Tigger to suit myself with some Voight handlebar raisers my attention turned to the legroom department. A set of SW Motech Evo footpegs seemed to be the answer and they turned up today. Took about 40 mins to fit but a lot of that time was spent looking for a flying circlip so I'm confident it could be comfortably done in less than 30 mins... It's a very comprehensive and well thought out kit, with masses of possible adjustment up to 15mm from up/down, fore/aft and peg angle. After a few tries in various positions I settled for a measured 10mm lower and 10mm further back. This provides a smidge more legroom and places my feet closer to the centre line of me when seated. Very happy with the results and they make a lot more difference than the small amount would suggest. Oddly enough I've not needed to alter the gear or brake lever, but I may just drop the brake down a bit over the weekend. Actual pics and a link to the SW Motech website below -

Cheers, I'm very happy with them. There's probably another 10/12mm of extra legroom if I took the rubbers off. Might have a play over the coming weeks.

Yeah I always take the rubbers off. I slid off of them on wet and mud one too many times. No need for the embarrassment  :745:

Good job with the ergonomic upgrade!
