SW Motech here. The important thing to remember is that having the protection is better than not having it, no matter what brand you end up with.

Since we are doing this (again) I am happy with the Givi bars.

And I'll stick in my two cents, not having upper bars focusses the mind! I don't do off-road but have dropped it twice at low/zero speed. The lower bars and handguards did the job on a normal flat surface. I did have the panniers on at the same time mind which also helped.

Hello,
After reading a lot on SW Motech installation with tricky aspect to remove the engine mounting and then having it moving I decided to go for AS3 performance crasbars.
Note : there is a Triumph described process to center correctly the engine mounting holes after any operation and it seems a lot of peopl doesn't care. I think this is relly risky due to the engine weight to put unwanted stress on connections and risk to damage screw threads...
They are in Aluminum and not requiring complicate mounting process.
I attached pictute as example but not from my bike.
Drawbacks?
Resistance because of material?
Engine dangerous due to mounting points?
I do not know because not tested :-)
That's it do as you want
