Two YEARS?? How did THAT happen?
on: April 28, 2021, 11:41:26 PM
I just thought I would post something I learned about a newer model of the Triumph Explorer tank bag.  (It's in an new thread in the Accessories sub-forum.)

And I discovered that I have not been on this forum for almost exactly two years!  What?  How did that happen?  I knew it had been a while, but ...

I am not going to ask what I missed.  But if anyone is interested, I am still upright, on two wheels, and those two wheels are still attached to a 2013 TEx.  Glad to be back, hope to be a little more active than recently.

^^^ I guess so ...   It's the only explanation I can come up with.

Jon - I intend to make that meeting.  I am retired now, so  I have a lot more free time.  (Except for the projects.)

COVID stasis. I feel like Rip Van Winkle. It's been 19 months since I even started my TEX, which I have not bothered to insure due to travel restrictions (have been riding a smaller bike locally). Maybe this year...  :006:

Yeah, maybe.  CoVid certainly reduced the scope of my riding activity in 2020, that's for sure.  But not my interest.

We've had it pretty good here in Ohio.  Our gov put on as few restrictions as he thought he could bear, and has loosened them as much and as soon as he thought he could.  Not as open as other US states like TX and FL, but no where near as restricted as many others.  So I was able to do some local day riding.  No multi-day trips, though.   Looking forward to resuming those this spring, as other states and activities open up.

Good luck to you.  Hopefully you will be free to ride soon.

We are in the worst of it right now, but vaccination rates are improving as access to imported vaccines improves, so things are looking up here.  :467:

I'm assuming Canada hasn't opened up its borders yet?

COVID put the big hurt on my planned "Swim in all 5 Great Lakes in 24 hours" trip I wanted to do last year.
