Front Caliper rebuild
on: August 27, 2021, 04:51:44 PM
Hi everyone, I have just replaced the seals and pistons on my 2016 Xrx. As I had to drain all the brake fluid I am starting from scratch, not just a fluid flush. I have manged to get fluid through and have got  pressure at the lever, but it is still spongy. I have tried using Tigertool to purge the ABS unit but I am not sure on the exact procedure for this. In the Triumph service manual it says you should activate the lever during the purge process, but that is the Triumph software.

Do you let the pump run, then open the bleed nipple, or something else? I have looked through the forum but I just can't find anything that really helps.

Thanks for any help

When I changed the brake fluid on mine using Tiger Tool I ran the pump and at the same time bled the brake with the brake lever while opening bleed nipple.
