Seat fitment
on: September 17, 2021, 05:42:49 AM
Hi all,
I have a 2017 (Gen 2) XRx Low..
The passenger seat is the "comfort" version but the riders seat is the "Low" (and hard) version..

I have the opertunity of getting some mint Gen 1 "Comfort seats" at sensible money..
Can you please confirm (or not) thet Gen 1 seats will fit a Gen 2 bike ?

Thanks in advance

Hi Speedy (and  :401:)
I'm pretty sure that Gen 2 and Gen 3 seats are interchangeable (apart from the heater connection), but have never tried the Gen 1 type.

I think there is a good chance that the seat base is similar (or even the same), but best to see if anyone has actually tried fitting one.

Cheers

Correct, I had a Gen 1 modified seat on my Gen 2 bike. No problems.
