Taller Touring Screen
on: September 18, 2021, 09:14:44 PM
Hi All,

My mate (who persuaded me to get an Explorer) wants the taller Touring OEM screen for his 2006 (Gen II) Explorer

He has seen a genuine one at a good price which states its for models up to 2015!
Its Part No is: T2303319
Can anyone tell me if this would fit a Gen II bike?
He says the early ones arent electric..
I pointed out that its not the screen thats electric.. Its the mechanism it attaches to (But what do I know)..
Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance,

S.

No it won't fit. 2015 Gen 1 screen is a different shape with different mounting points to a 2016 Gen 2

I went for the Puig touring screen.  Love it as it gives that extra range for extending up on the gen 3.   Not sure that helps though?
