New Owner: 2018 Triumph Tiger 1200 XCA
on: September 18, 2021, 09:47:56 PM
Hello from Weddington, NC (just outside Charlotte).  I picked up a barely used '18 Marine XCA this week and absolutely loving the bike so far.  Previous riding history was mostly on sport/track bikes, but now my riding style has changed and looking for more than just speed.  Took my wife out for a quick rip yesterday on the Tiger and she thoroughly enjoyed it.  The quick shifter is cool along with all the rider aids/info from the TFT screen.  My last Triumph was a 2001 Daytona 955i and I forgot how good the triple is!  Looking forward to some great adventure riding in the future on the TIGER!  Cheers! :031:

Just got back from the first proper 200+ mile ride on the Tiger.  For a big adventure machine, this thing sure does love the twisties!  Getting use the the manerisms of the bike and what it wants to do in certain situations.  So far, I'm very pleased as the bike pretty much loves doing anything I want it to.  Not as much engine braking as my R NineT has, but definitely enough to help decelerate and trail brake.  Headed to the mountains next weekend for some serious miles.   :821:

Glad that you are enjoying the bike - I've had a 2018 XCA for 3 years (same color as yours), and it still makes me smile every time I take it out  :467:
