:0461: However there appears to be a supply problem & they were unavailable when I need them. This may be related to stocks being run down in anticipation of the new Road 6 that is now available in some sizes but not yet our Tigers.

Well I’ve ended up with the Avon Trekriders as my local tyre guy couldn’t get the Michelin Adv’s. Looking forward to trying them out on my next wild camping trip, so I’ll report back…  :028:

That’s good to hear. I almost went with the Trail’s but thought I’d give the more aggressive Trek a go.

They’ve turned up and tbh they ‘look’ great, pretty chunky. Cheaper than the Michelins (and actually available) so I’m looking forward to seeing how they feel once they are fitted…

Be interesting to see how they handle on tarmac, especially in the wet, given the 50:50 tread design.

Just over 10,000 miles on my bikes stock Tourance Next tyres..
Pretty good mileage for a heavy tourqey bike in my opinion.
Mine are certainly NOT noisy, and I can say I have had any issues in the 2,000 miles I have owned the bike..
I am seriously considering replacing with the same in a months time..

Avon Trailriders.
5-6,000 miles from a rear, over twice that from a front.
Good grip dry or wet.  No noise issues.
