Cannot believe there is no cruise control option on the new 660
I would swap my Explorer for this in a heartbeat if there was.
I need the CC as my right wrist has a few issues that make long distances very painful if I cannot take my hand off the throttle.
Come on Triumph, it cannot be THAT hard to make it an option!

It's not -- unless the 660 lacks ride by wire. It's marketing. Want more features? Upgrade to a bigger bike.

I may have to go back to sticking a lolly stick in the gap between the throttle and the bit to the left of it. Worked on my Z550!
I see me being torn between the 900 GT and this 660. I just feel like the 660 might just be enough for me especially as I will likely start commuting again next year. 22 miles each way I could manage without any CC no problem, it's the 200 miles plus days that get me.
It's cheaper too than the 900.
Damn you Triumph

I want to look at one when they arrive.

Check out the new Aprilia Pegaso 660, light, powerful and has cruise control.

I can't give up on Triumph. I just can't
The Pegaso looks a little too 'adventurey' to me though I have to admit I have a soft spot for Aprilla.

Either? Both? Neither appeal to me sadly

The Pegaso looks to be more of a super moto.

You might well find that the lack of torque on a 660 might not suit cruise control (without the ability to fit an auto gearbox as well!).
Triumphs m/c’s only since 1995.
Sprint 900, Daytona 1200SE, Tiger 1200, 5 x Trophy 1200. Oh and a Range Rover. if it wasn’t built at Hinckley or Solihull, it doesn’t count 😁
