Advice needed please..

I am looking at a tiger 800 XC, it has 13000 miles up, looks a little tired, I am told it is a 2013/14, however looking at the VIN I think it is earlier (possibly 2008/2010). 
The VIN is #redacted# can anyone confirm what year it actually is, and what its UK value is roughly

Lots of trade websites (dealers etc) outside the UK post the VIN of vehicles for sale. I think in some countries this is a legal requirement. Perhaps that's where he got the info?

Also, in the UK the VIN for just about any vehicle can be looked-up online in a few seconds from just the registration number, legally.

Thanks all, we figured out the year, and a fair price, and my brother decided he wanted it, so it is his now.  Hopefully he will be joining the 800 forum..
