First 500 miles on the Tiger Sport 660

Just wanted to feedback on the first 500 miles on my new steed. I'll give you personal likes and dislikes and let you know what extras I got both FF and added by me.

So if I start with the FF added options, I got:

    Fog lights
    Din Socket
    Fork protectors
    Rear bobbins
    Quickshifter
    Triumph rack

I added the Shad Carbon 39L top box and the Oxford products clock. Also the Shapeheart phone mount. I purchased the Oxford Products premium rear paddock stand.

    Likes:

Soooo much lighter and easier to manhandle than the Tex. Added confidence at stops where the camber and road surface is iffy.

Lives up to the Sport moniker from a handling perspective. Drops into corners with a thought and the Road 5's inspire confidence as you might expect.

Smooth and quite rapid acceleration though as I am still running it in I have tested the higher reaches of the rev range ('limited' to 6500 at the moment).

Ergonomics fit me nicely at 32" inseam and 5'10" tall.

Gear changes are super smooth with the clutch and almost as smooth without going up and down the box. I am enjoying the quickshifter.

Fuel economy so far is 13.85 miles per litre over two fill ups. (Still running in don't forget).

Suspension is really good given there are no adjustments beyond rear preload.

    Dislikes:

Screen isn't tall enough so I will have to experiment with add-ons or replacement screen.

Seat is firm and whilst it is easy to move around on I felt it after a couple of hours in the saddle (I kept off the motorways for the most part so this is dual carriageway and backroad riding - mostly the latter).

I would like a span adjustable clutch lever despite how little I sue the clutch. An easy upgrade.

That's about it. After 500 miles I would say it ticks just about every box I had hoped to tick and I am really happy with it.

On the accessory front, the Shad 39L looks great and is the right size for the bike in terms of scale. It was an easy fit with the universal fitting kit too. I haven't fit the clock yet because I can't find where I put it (we are having the house rewired so there are lots of things I cannot find right now). Seemed like a quality product when I unboxed it. Haven't used the paddock stand yet either but that too seems good quality.

Happy to answer any questions you might have.
